When asked many years ago by a young couple with a growing family to give this Park Avenue Pre-War some Southern charm, we jumped at the chance.
Both had ties to the South and were after a traditional look but with a bit of irreverence. Incorporating much of the clients’ exisiting pieces, we peppered in some carefully chosen antiques and art sourced from New Orleans to ground the bold color and playful pattern the client was after. The result was an inviting kid-friendly home in the Big Apple by way of the Big Easy.
